This beautiful Charcoal Painting by the famous Painter, Sculptor and Architect Franz Brantzky shows a Harbor / Port on the Rhine River in Germany (most likely in Duisburg). It is signed by the artist and has also the location "Rheinhafen" on it. The drawing would look beautiful when framed in a simple frame.

Franz Brantzky is best known for his sketches and drawings during his travels and even published a book about them (Reiseskizzen). He was born on January 19th 1871 in Cologne (Germany). He won several golden medals at the international art exhibits in Munich and Düsseldorf. He was also a famous architect. He designed the Eastasia Museum in Cologne, the Romefountian in Cologne, serveral Churches, the Möhne Dam and many more buildings.
Condition: Good condition with nice color and light tanning giving it a vintage look. Please see pictures.
