Arts and Crafts Hand Painted Tray with a cream background and a lovely circle of stylized flowers in the center. It has a heavy gold trim and handles done in the Art Deco style with no gold paint loss. It is marked made in Czechoslovakia MC Altrontau CMR and it has the artist initials EMJ 1923 and measures 9 1/2”W. This was likely a blank that a talented artist bought and decorated and signed and dated . It would make a lovely cookie platter or it could be in an Arts and Crafts display, or it would make a beautiful dresser or side table tray for jewelry. I like to have a pretty place to take off and put my jewelry at night.
