Listed in the Steuben catalog as item #8304, this item currently retails in the Corning Museum of Glass Shop for $1000. As seen in the accompanying photos, the eagle has a dramatic appearance and captures the eagle with its neck lifted and head looking up and off to the right. The bird's right leg is extended in front of its body and its wings are partially unfolded as if about to take flight. Pollard has paid particular attention to depicting the eagle's wings, creating a series of angles that capture and reflect light, emphasizing the liquid quality of the glass.
