This elegant crystal console bowl was made in Ireland by Waterford. The piece is quite weighty for its size and has a wide, shallow bowl with thick walls and a thick pedestal foot. The exterior of the bowl features deep diamond cuts that have a silvery appearance when they catch and reflect light. The underside of the foot is decorated with deeply cut rays that radiate out from the center.

The bowl is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The piece stands 2.625" tall and the bowl measures 10.25" across as measured from the outside edges of the rim. The foot is 4" in diameter and the side bears the acid etched Waterford mark executed in arched Gothic letters. The compote is heavy for its size and weighs in at 3lbs 4oz.
