Detailed Description:
This whimsical and finely detailed mechanical figure cast of 900 purity silver, depicting Judith beheading Holofernes is a wonderful example of design. For its diminutive size It has a heavy substantial form. The arm of the figure holding a sword moves, along with the front panel of the dress opening as well.
It will function and display well wherever you may choose to display it.

The account of the beheading of Holofernes by Judith, is a fable given in the Book Of Judith, It has been the subject of many paintings and sculptures dating back to the Renaissance and Baroque periods. In the fable, Judith, a beautiful widow, is permitted access to the tent of Holofernes because of his desire for her. Holofernes was an Assyrian general who was about to destroy Judith’s home, the city of Bethulia. Intoxicated bye alcohol, Holofernes passes out and is beheaded by Judith.
