For sale here is an ICONIC vintage 1950s 60s handmade smoky glass with orange bubble summers modernist Murano Egg design paperweight by the firm of Cenedese Vetraria in Venice, Italy. A distinctive and documented design by this top Murano glassworks known for their mod mid century designs! Measures 3-7/8" tall by 2-1/2" diameter, and weighs 507.2 grams or 17.89 ounces, just over a pound prior to packing. Unmarked as most of these mid century glass pieces from Murano only carried paper labels, and these were often take off by their owners, but this is a recognized and documented design by Cenedese Murano Italy.
