For sale here is a BIG and quite heavy vintage 1970s hand-blown amber with blue applied disks glass modern bowl designed by Josef Hospodka for the Prachen Glassworks in Czechoslovakia. Striking modernist design with charming handmade irregularity in the design! Measures 6-3/4" diameter by 3" tall at rim, and weighs about 2.5 pounds prior to packing. Unmarked, as is expected from this era/maker/etc. Probably originally an ashtray, but no damage or smell and likely never used for that purpose. Great as a coin dish, a catch-all for cufflinks etc, or displayed on a shelf as modern art! Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear at bottom from display but no chips, cracks or other damage of any kind - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
