Shipwreck Manuscript #2 Santa Margarita Nuestra Senora de La Conception and Pilar Manila Galeons, 1980's - image 1 of 15

This is a private manuscript or document, an historical research study, about an inch thick, never published , but was prepared for a treasure hunting /Archaeological company searching for 2 Manila Galleons , Conception and Margarita, lost in the Western Pacific on the return voyage, in early 1600's loaded with Chinese goods, treasure and contraband. Conception was the largest galleon built until then and carried 2 years of cargo, and the personal wealth of a corrupt governor. This is the summary of research done in Seville by paid researchers, and appears newer than that in volume #1. It is the Historical background of an archaeological report, incudes manifests, and is the most amazing summary of this little known topic I have seen. Whether you are an historian, dealer in Chinese antiques, treasure lover or fascinated by Pacific History, you will not find such a treasure of information in other books. It have also included a folder by Gene Lyons on contraband. I was best friends with an archaeologist who had this copy; the University where he taught gave me his file cabinet after he was gone.
