This fabulous hand painted Imari pattern is Chamberlain's #276, popularly known as "Thumb and Finger". The unusual shape of the coffee can is called "bucket".
The set was made c 1802-1805 according to Godden's "Chamberlain-Worcester Porcelain". The can is about 2-3/4" high. The deep saucer is 5". It is not marked.
The can is in excellent condition, with only a tiny firing flaw on the handle. It rings when tapped.
The saucer is in fair condition, with a spider crack visible on the back, another crack leading up to the edge, and a chip on the rim visible from the back, but barely seen from the front. It has the pattern number, 276, hand painted on the back.
