The Mason's Collectors' Club calls this very striking pattern "Floral Chain", and gives it the MCC code OF124. The mark dates it c 1840.
The pattern number, 2528, is painted in red on the foot rim.
The very large bowl (10-1/4") is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs. There are a few utensil marks, and a small glaze skip in the white part of the central circle. This may be seen in close-up photo #8.
This very heavy bowl weighs over 1 lb., 12 oz.
