A fine set of antique Apothecary & Pharmacy Scientific Brass Measuring Weights in their original Wooden Block. Very Rare in this condition and completeness.

European - believed to be from The Netherlands the box measures 27cm - 10.6in x 7cm- 2.8in x 9.5cm - 3.7in weighing approximately 1.2kg.

They are estimated to hail from the mid to late 19th century

The box contains 13 major weights from 1 kilo and descending and six micro weights with the accompanying tweezers to manage the micro weights.

Numerous assay marks on the weights with all the grace and charm of their significant age.

A great addition to any kitchenalia or scientific instrument collection.

In overall very good vintage condition. The weights have not been cleaned so they are in their original state. They all fit perfectly in the wooden box. The box shows some markings and is solid.
