This cast metal bust has a two tone bronze patina. It is of a warrioress wearing a winged and plumed helmet. She has on a breast plate which is partially covered by draped fabric. The ladies skin is golden bronze in color. Everthing else is a rich dark brown bronze color. On close examination the bust's surface shows wear and some roughness. However this is only visible up close. This piece displays wonderfully. It is hollow and has a square of black felt covering the bottom. There is a bit of residue in the crevices on the plume and in the drapery. It blends into the dark patina well and is not very noticeable. I have not found any marks on this piece. I do not know the age for sure but it is likely late 19th century. This is a nice bust to display.
