This vintage pair of cast iron candle holders is designed in the form of a bow with flowers. They are marked 'LVL' for Lulu Verhoren Lavell. Lulu was an artist who started the Minneapolis, Minnesota Candlestick Co. in around 1920. She went on to design several cast iron pieces through out the 1920's which were sold through the company. Like many of this companies pieces these candle holders are marked 'LVL'. On one there is a "pat pend" mark and the other is marked with patent No. 103122. The candleholder with the patent number is a sky blue bow. The other candleholder has a white bow. The paint on both is in good condition with out to much chipping. However, there is some discoloration on the blue one inside wear the candle sits. I see no damage to the iron. This are pretty vintage, collectible candle holders.
