Vintage Heart Teaching Model used by a Pacemaker Salesman in the 1970"s - image 1 of 10

This Heart Teaching Model was used by my husband when he was a Pacemaker salesman in the 1970"s. He is now retired and no longer needs it, so I decided to list it as I think it would be a wonderful Heart Model for use in Science classes in grammar school, or for a collector of Medical Displays.
This one has a pacemaker lead in it to show how the lead is positioned in the apex of the left ventricle. Three panels open up to show the insides of the 4 chambers of the heart. It is painted to show the major arteries and veins of the heart along with the ascending aorta going to the body and the main artery going to the lungs. It used to have a light that would flash at 70 beats per minute to show how the pacemaker and lead work together to cause the heart to contract and move the blood. Apart from that missing light, this model is in excellent condition. It stands 13" high, and the base is 5-1/2" wide.
