A wonderful rare brass and marble hotel desk bell in good working order. The brass sphere is supported by cast iron mounts and topped with a finial. Just turn the side knobs to elicit a cheerful strong ringing. There is a nice design impressed on the cast iron oval. The bell sits on a 1” high marble base ( 3 1/4” square) backed with red felt. The bell itself is 5 1/4” tall and 5” wide and weighs 1 lb 14 oz. This is a great piece for the collector and an even greater piece for an existing heritage hotel.
