Presenting a beautiful Edwardian or late Victorian wire hanging basket ready to be filled with trailing vines or colourful garden flowers. It would be perfect indoors perhaps in a boho setting or outdoors on a Victorian veranda.
Several ‘S’ shaped swirls surround the basket. Six pairs of these swirls form heart shapes. There are three open hanging loops around the rim (photo) and three detachable chains. Fourteen basket ribs meet at the circle base. A few swirl end areas are open a little (photo).
The wire basket is 7” high and about 11” wide. Each chain is about 15” long.
This hanging wire basket is in wonderful antique condition with a light rusty weathered patina.
