Sherwin Williams Paint Antique Cast Iron Chameleon Lizard
The chameleon was adopted by Sherwin Williams as their logo in late 1800's and served the company until 1893 when a designer named George W. Ford came up with the “Cover the Earth” logo.
This fellow has a broken tail but given the rarity of this collectors piece... it still offers great historical significance.
Measures 8" long nose to tip of broken tail, 5" wide foot to foot.
He weighs 2 lbs.
Some of the original green pain shows trough but mostly he is black.
Stamped The Sherwin Williams Co P on the underside
