This wonderful vintage cast bronze/brass tray features the design of a French lady looking at the sailboats sailing. Around the edge of tray are fish and a fishing net. Very nicely detailed.

Under the lady is signed Chalons Marne with a line between them. There may also had some writing above this but it is worn.

I have searched the net and found two similar trays. Neither has the name under lady and the embossing was not where as detailed as this one. I would say it is a rare tray.

Not sure if the tray is brass or bronze.

Measuring approx. 7" long by 4 3/4".

Great vintage condition with some minor appropriate use wear. There is some green verdigris which I did not clean as I love the look.

Really a wonderful little French tray.
