Paloma Picasso created this hefty goldtone chain belt to a whole new level of belts...not just at the waist but around the neck too.

This is a fantastic piece...highly gilded, double chains with multi links, post loops for holding the chains together, round loops signed PALOMA PICASSO.

The belt was made circa 1980. That was just about the time Picasso became an instant hit with her collaborations with Tiffany & Co.

The belt measures 36 inches end to end. It's 1 inch wide at the gold posts. As a belt, you can hook it into any link along the way between 24 and 34 inches.

As a necklace, you can hook it at about 25 inches around and let the center chain dangle straight down. Or wrap it around as worn on our manikin who's too short to wear it long.

This belt is a fine example of great designer body jewelry. It's in excellent vintage condition.
