This vintage handbag / clutch is a rarity.

It was designed in the 1970s by our jewelry designer friend who loved Art Deco and created this purse as a tribute to those Art Deco fan shapes of the 1930s.

This purse is gold-plated metal. It has the rounded soft feathery style fan shapes under the edge of more spiky geometric shapes. Both sides have the same design. The bottom center on each side has a bezel set black onyx stone.

The inside of the purse is lined in brown suede. The slits at the top allow you to keep the shoulder chain hidden inside the bag. The goldtone link chain measures 20 inches from center to the top of the purse. Carry this as a clutch and there's no sign of the chain.

Purse measures 7 1/2 inches across the bottom by 4 inches high. It's 2 inches wide at the top.

Push down button top closes securely. Handbag is in excellent vintage condition.
