This vintage Disco handbag is so fantastic (and rare) that to get in the proper mindset to describe this, I just listened to YOU SHOULD BE DANCING, YEAH by the Bee Gees, watching John Travolta dance to it. I almost fell out of my chair.

That song kind of sums up the mood, the glory days, the move-your-booty days, the golden days of Disco. And so does this handbag.

It was made in Italy for COLOR-MATE. The high-quality is obvious as it glows goldtone, made with rows of circle discs, multi gold-link chains and the same design front and back.

The bag measures 7 inches across by 6 inches high. The top edge of the bag is finished with gold metallic woven trim.
Inside is lined with goldtone fabric.

The multi-chains measure about 14 inches from top of the bag to the center of chains. This is long enough to wear over the shoulder.
Each side of the chains has a gold disc to keep the message moving to the beat...even in the seat.

Tag is marked MADE IN ITALY FOR COLOR MATE.

The handbag shows VERY MINIMAL signs of wear / use.
Lucky for us, this bag hardly ever went dancing so it's in excellent vintage condition.
