A Mexican Art Deco five-piece coffee and tea service by J. Jimenez, hand-crafted in copper and brass with wood handles. Set includes a large oval serving tray with cast brass magnolia blossom flower handles, a kettle raised on a hinged base with warmer underneath, a tall coffee or chocolate pot, a teapot and a sugar bowl. Each with brass leaf decoration on the lid. Beautiful warm patina. Exceptional craftsmanship. Unmarked. Inspired by Georg Jensen's Art Nouveau sterling coffee and tea set designed in 1905. In very good condition with light scratches and some pitting to tray. Handle of kettle appears to have been repaired or replaced. Circa 1930-1950.
