This is a nice vintage Hubley door stop with the original dark brown and tan paint. The detail on the dog in very nice. Notice the ears and the detail of the eyes. Also, there is good detail on the red collar around the neck. The doorstop dates between 1930 – 1950s and was made in Lancaster, Pennsylvania by Hubley. The paint is most there but as can be seen in the photos there are some missing paint, not unusual and commonly found in door stops this old. The is sturdy standing 5 inches tall from the base to the top of the dog’s head. The doorstop is 6 1/2 inches long. A very nice doorstop and will display well. Enjoy!
