Petite Choses made a variety of vase holders and candle holders in the 1940s. This is an example of a hand on a base vase holder or candle holder. I believe there was a metal insert piece that fit in the hole in the hand to either hold the candle or a glass vase. However, you could still use it. The hand is in good vintage condition with some paint missing as shown in the photographs. Please take a moment and review the photographs.

The hand stands 6 ¾ inches tall sitting on a 3 ½ inch square base. This is an interesting hand and would look nice on a table or bookcase. Enjoy!
