Prudential insurance started at Newark, New Jersey, in 1875. This paperweight commemorates the milestone of paying claims over $11 million, not much money in today’s terms but a lot in the 1800s. The paperweight is in good condition and is not chip or cracked.

The paperweight is desk size measuring 4 by 2 ½ inches and 7/8 inches thick. This nice glass paperweight would look nice on a desk or table. Enjoy!
