This charming fashion plate illustrates the clothing of a gentleman with an impressive moustache out riding his bicycle. A lady, again in late 19th century clothing with full upper sleeve, is holding a parasol. Is she offering it to him, or is she giving him a lecture?? This image was published by The John Williamson Company Limited, 93 & 94 Drury Lane London, WC. It is labelled ‘Illustrations of British Costume, Summer 1893’ and was entered at Stationer’s Hall. The condition is good for age but it is unmounted and would need a frame. This would be a fun image to present to a bicycle fanatic or others interested in costumes of earlier eras. 10.5 ins (26.6cm) x 7.75 ins (19.6cm). Weight 6 grams.
Economy Air Mail Post with insurance to the USA would be $14.00 USD (tracking is not available with this service). For shipping cost to other countries, please contact us.
