Very unusual Japanese covered box with a Ko Kutain or Imari look to it. Very finely detailed and quite unusual decoration. A worthy piece for even the most advanced collection due to its unusual design. Circa 1850 and in excellent overall condition. The box measures 6" x 4 1/4" and 3 1/2" tall.
