Here is a Boyds Dollstone figurine called "Rebecca with Elliot ... Birthday!" that was released in 1996 as a Premiere Edition. This figurine is from the Boyds "Yesterday's Child" Series, which features children with their bears and dolls. Rebecca is the name of the little girl who is celebrating her birthday with Elliot the bear, who is dressed in a clown outfit. Rebecca is carefully blowing out the candles on the skillfully crafted cake. The details on this hand painted resin figure are remarkable, even down to the tiny roses on her dress.

A Premiere Edition is more rare than other versions of the figurine, as Premiere Editions were debuted on the QVC shopping channel before being released to the stores. Those released to the stores did not have the Premiere designation on the bottom. The bottom gives the hand numbered edition, and this one is #5318. The figurine is in new condition and has not been displayed. It will come in the original box with a certificate of authenticity.

Boyds Collection figurines have been highly collected since their introductions. "Rebecca with Elliot ... Birthday!" is referenced in the 2001 "Collector's Value Guide" by CheckerBee Publishing Co. We will include an early Dollstone catalog with purchase.
