This is a piece of Early American Pattern Glass or EAPG It is a barrel shaped toothpick or match holder, with the barrel supported by a trio of fish or dolphins. The barrel is also pressed with leaves in a band around the center and stars top and bottom. There is a star pressed into the base of the foot. The entire piece is 4 1/4" tall. It is in very good condition. There is a flat edge along the foot that may be an old chip, I am nor sure. No one seems to know who made this piece, I have seen it attributed to Bryce, Higbee and to Bellaire.
