This is an American Brilliant Period cut glass antique 8 1/4" serving bowl. The bowl has a sawtooth rim. It is cut in stars, diamonds, fans, finecut triangles, and crosses. It is not signed or marked. On the one hand, American Brilliant cut glass is easy to identify, on the other hand, it is difficult. The easy part is seeing that it is brilliant cut glass from the late 1800s-early 1900s. The hard part is figuring out the company that made it. I have not been able to identify the maker. The bowl is in really excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks, the glass is clear and bright.
