About Us

It all started in 1967 with an old oak bucket. The bucket cost us $3 and the stuff to clean it cost $20...and three days of scrubbing.

After that experience, we were hooked. If it was old with any promise of history and/or charm, we wanted to rescue it for others to enjoy.
A Greenwich Village antique shop followed. Eighteen years of treasures and interesting people passed through our doors. Andy Warhol told us we were one of his favorite shops.

Our personal collections included Bakelite anything, art deco faces, old toys, Native American Jewelry, advertising trays, and the quirky piece we couldn't live without (there were MANY of those).

We’ve been living in Florida since 1988 and instead of Margaritaville and
relaxation, we keep pursuing that great relic that needs a home…
which is what brought us to Ruby Lane. The treasures keep finding us.
Our passion is vintage jewelry and we have some great estate sources that enable us to pass on divine finds at earthly prices.

That old oak bucket may have been covered with dirt. But it also had a lot of long-lasting good karma too. It still serves as our umbrella stand.
